The Sons of Anarchy will be rolling
back into Charming this fall, and fans will be treated to an extra-long
trip for the premiere.
The sixth season of the motorcycle drama will bow on September 10 with a 90-minute episode, FX announced Wednesday.
Peter Weller, who has directed six episodes of the show, is also slated to return, this time appearing on screen as a former cop instead of working behind the camera. Other guest stars will include Donal Logue, as well as return appearances by Jimmy Smits and Drea de Matteo.
"Sons of Anarchy" averaged an impressive 6.4 million viewers over its fifth season.
