The Manchester United fans inside Old Trafford went berserk when Robin van Persie scored in stoppage time to rescue a point against Chelsea, writes Paul Pycroft in the Manchester Evening News.
And with good reason. The Reds looked like they were heading for an undeserved defeat before the Dutch striker scored in the final minute of the game.
Van Persie finally got the better of Chelsea keeper Thibaut Courtois, the Belgian keeper named Man of the Match, who had denied the United man twice in one-vv-one situations.
The result means United will take some momentum into next weekend's Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium.
